The Trustees (sometimes known as the Fleggburgh Poor Trustees) are appointed for a four (4) year term. At end of this period each Trustee has the right to re-apply, if there are no other applicants. Even in such situations, the Trustees must ensure that any new or re applying member must be of sound character of proven ability in the performance of his or her duty. True and honest, in their dealings with the public and dedication in developing benefits to the community.

The Trust stipulates automatic entry of the resident Priest of St Margarets, Fleggburgh and acting Church warden through its historical charter and they are not subjected to time constraints.
